Bridging the Gap Between Language Barriers and Population Groups
In 1998, Slavey Tolev began working with domestic violence victims by translating and interpreting Russian and Spanish for the Attorney General’s Office in Oregon. For Slavey, this advocacy uncovered the true consequences of language barriers.
His experiences inspired Slavey to pursue his new passion professionally. He invited several individuals with language proficiency to join a translation and interpretation team. Together, they worked to help bridge the gap between population groups.
Now, the Translations in Motion family includes three unique companies:
